She was sent home from daycare with a 101.8 fever on Monday and has been home with MH since. She's got a runny nose, a wet cough (I think it sounds wet), and a cold in her right eye started maybe 2 hrs after I got her home from daycare.
Took her to the pediatrician on Monday. Ears are clear, lungs are clear, he said he can't figure out what's causing the fever.
She's not very interested in eating or drinking, though it seems like she's picked now to finally drink her water. Getting wet diapers from her. She was at 101.6 when I got home last night, Called the pedi's office again & they said to call back in the morning if she still had a fever. She was 101.2 this morning when she got up, down to 99.4 when I left for the office.
She looks exhausted, but is surprisingly still in her usual good mood. I just feel bad we can't do much more for her than what we're doing. Aside from adding extra snuggles, of course.

DD -- 5YO
DS -- 3YO
I thought teething because she?s been drooling so much lately, but I can?t see anything coming in. I mentioned the drooling to the dr & said I guess she?s teething on top of everything else. He said ?Or, her throat is sore & it hurts to swallow.? I don?t think he was waiving me off?I don?t know. This wasn?t her usual dr. & I didn?t care all that much for this guy.
I?m waiting to hear from MH as to what her temp is. The dr?s office says to call if it?s over 100, but if it?s still hovering around 99.6 or 100 I might go ahead & call anyway. The fever gets me & I?m concerned about fluids. This morning she ate her oatmeal & fruit for breakfast & had yogurt for a snack, but now she?s refusing formula completely. We?re getting wet diapers from her, but they don?t seem as wet as they should be, KWIM?
Poor little one
Have you tried giving some pedialyte to keep hydrated?

Hope she's doing better.
FWIW, DS only got a mild fever with his 1 year molars--no other times.
