If you use a noggin nest, or a similar product to correct a flat head - would you recommend it? Thinking about ordering it to help round out LO's flat head...

I would talk to the pedi and take their recommendations. I would not mess with any structure without a pedi's prescription.
I agree with this.
I haven't had a chance to respond earlier, but I saw your posts. Long story short, at first the doctors thought our DD had sagittal craniosynostosis (a fusion of the sagittal suture). Thankfully, a CT scan showed that the suture is not yet fused, but it is close. Since then, until we take her back in February, we've been keeping her off her head at all times except for sleeping. The doctors still want her on her back at night (we try some naps on the belly, but our LO REALLY hates her belly). So for all her awake hours, she is up on my shoulder or in her saucer. I try tummy time, but like I said, we're not doing it as much as we should because she hates it. Already, I THINK I see an improvement in her head.
When we go back in February, if things are the same as they were at Thanksgiving, she will be fitted with a helmet to prevent the sutures from fusing (basically fixing the flat spot). If she's better, we'll just keep up with limiting the amount of time on her head. And if she is worsened and the sutures have fused, we will proceed to surgery.
Basically, flatness of the head should be taken very seriously (I am not in any way saying you aren't!), and I would work very closely with LO's doctors. Good luck, Mama!

I answered your post on 3-6 months. My guys have to get helmets. I don't think the Noggin Nests can actually correct a flat head but it might help it from getting worse. Plus you should only use them under supervision, not in the crib.
