I have read that the one sizes are sometimes too large for newborns. Have you ladies found this to be the case? Is it a good idea to get some new born sizes if I plan to use the one size? I am debating between FuzziBunz and Bum Genius. I was leaning towards Fuzzibunz but a friend said the elastic wore out in the legs on those.

Re: CD for newborns
I plan on trying a BG 4 with aplix on my LO tomorrow because it looks like it might work. Thirsties Duo size 1 pocket worked fairly early....probably around 7 or 8 pounds.
I have both the FB and the BG in my stash, and I LOVE how the FB don't require changing snaps, though if my two are different sizes it may be more tricky. I don't know which one I like better, after selling a few of the FB, I will have about 20 of each in my stash, as well as some Kawaii diapers too. I bought everything used, which saves a ton!
For my NB stage, I just got some KLO and will get some additional prefolds and covers. I'll sell the KLOs after, and use the prefolds later for stuffing or burp cloths or whatever.
Good luck!
I used Lil Joeys and BG xs for the first month. Then, BG smalls for 3 weeks and got rid of them because she fit into OS perfectly at 4 weeks. She was 8 lbs., 12 oz. at birth and over 10 lbs at 4 weeks, so take that into consideration. The Lil Joeys lasted about a week in this house!
