I think I found a job!!!

I went out today to a few Temp agencies and to a place (eye glass manufacturer) that was advertising in a local job magazine (one of the free ones you get at the grocery store lobby).  I went there this afternoon and there were a several people coming in and out filling out applications.  I must have made an impression since they asked me to go back and do the on-line assessments.  I then had a very brief interview with the recruiter, and they showed me the manufacturing floor to give me an idea of what they do there.  I have an interview scheduled with the supervisor tomorrow at 6pm (it is a 5:15pm -3:45am shift) but the recruiter said that she would really wants to get him to interview me earlier when he is in!!!

It is not the greatest pay, but it is something and it is a direct hire (and not through a temp agency) so that would mean medical insurance as well!!!

Thanks everyone for listening to my vents the last little while and for your words of encouragement.  I has really meant a lot.
