dd has the davinci kalani crib and changing table. we spent close to $800 for both when we bought them new.
the crib has a couple teeth marks and the table has some very small scratches. other than that they still look very nice. a friend who is adopting a child wants to buy it from me and i have no idea what to charge her. any suggestions?
thanks!
Re: how much would you sell your crib/changing table for?
this. If I'm buying used and it's not PRISTINE or in the box I expect it to be about half the price or less.
We bought ours for ?80, and I'll take ?35 for it. We only used it a handful of times, and it's been sitting in storage since then.
I always knock off at least 50% because it's a used item.
I'd give it to someone... (donate)
We have the graco (forget which one... lauren maybe... or is that a carseat...) expresso color. Got it from target. It's in good shape. Has some teeth marks. Using it for #2 then will donate it.
I've been giving so many things, hand me downs etc from family and friends that I couldn't see charging someone when I was given so much.
(also it wasn't like a super expensive crib or anything)
it's not drop side.
and i tried to tell my friend i didn't want anything for it and she is insisting. plus, i could use the money anyways. flame me if you must.
ill prob just tell her 200 for both. i know they could use their extra money as well.
I think that's a great number.

This. Or maybe even 200 if they balk at that. Its more than you would get at a garage sale, and might be comparable to CL.
And the DaVinci was one on my list for what we wanted but I knocked it off because of the cost. I dont even remember what brand and style we got but it was 600 for the matching crib, 3 drawer dresser, and changing table.

I wouldn't sell mine because it doesn't meet the new safety standards as of last year and it's illegal.
However, if I could sell mine, I would sell it for half of what I paid in perfect condition. With teeth marks and scratches, I'd sell it for 75% of what i paid.
ETA: it's not just drop-sides that are illegal. Any crib manufactured before June 28th, 2011 cannot be sold. https://www.cpsc.gov/onsafety/2011/06/the-new-crib-standard-questions-and-answers/
