Feeling bad for Beyonce

I honestly do not believe a lot of what is being said and feel bad that she is dealing with this at such a special time. Can you imagine dealing with something like this the day you brought LO home?

I understand the extreme security measures in this pop star crazy culture. If an insane fan had made it inside every baby in there would have been in danger.

I don't believe that some dad was kicked out of or kept from his babies in the NICU. Here baby wasn?t even in there?..why would they do that? And wouldn't more parents be coming forward? I think it is far more likely that people in the hallways were asked to step aside for a moment when they were coming through and that is being spun into so much more.

I don't believe they bought out an entire floor. Why would they do that when they had a private suite with private security. And so what that they probably paid a million for the executive suite? If I had the money I would too.

Gossips magazines and shows are disgusting and this is a prime example.

  • I tend to agree with you about the rumors, and I was thinking earlier how sad I'd be if my daughters birth had been surrounded by negativity. People should just back off.

  • I think you are right about the rumors.  However my understanding about the NICU, is that it was on the same floor as the floor that she paid to have to herself.  I believe here at the women's hospital the NICU is on the same floor as other things also, but who knows really.

Either way, if it is true that is sort of sad that all of that was necessary.  I know here at our hospital it is on such a lock down (I mean literally if a someone even walks near the doors with a baby on each floor an alarm goes off and the entire hospital locks down, the doors actually lock down til all babies are accounted for, noone leaving, noone entering), all of that would not have been necessary.

  • I think that if you're going to be in the public eye you have to learndo learn to deal with positive and negative press. Is it sad that people are saying nasty things? Yes but it was bound to happen. My dad used to say "any press is good press", he was also a d!ck lawyer... but I still think it's true.
  • I was thinking the same thing (to an extent).  I feel bad that her decision on how she delivered is being judged and that this is tainting a special time in her families life.

With that said, they're not helping themselves in the least.  They should stop bringing attention to themselves.  The public release of a very personal sounding rap within 48 hours of her birth doesn't exact scream "leave me alone".  I have no problem with rapping about the birth but maybe save it for just your family for a few weeks.

I still think there was a circus like atmosphere at the hospital but again I blame the hospital administration for allowing their entourage to behave in that manner.

  • What I want to know is what makes this celebrity birth so different?  Good lord!  I stopped even liking Beyonce's music a while ago and JayZ is just okay (although I would have loved to go to the Jay-Z/Eminem show at Comerica park right before I got pregnant).  But over the years so many celebrities (royalty, etc.) have given birth and I don't remember this much drama surrounding any of them).
