DH sent me a picture of Liv dressed in a play suit wearing her too small beanie, too small socks, and the playsuit is riding up close to her thighs. Her legs are probably cold. She's sitting in a Costco cart with nothing cushioning her back or bottom, 2 loaves of bread next to her and one of her arms wrapped around it, and maybe she's trying to eat the bag.
My poor little baby girl. That's what happens when mommy goes to work for one day a week. Next time I go to work, I will make sure her outfit is prepared in case DH decides to go out with her.
Re: LOs dressed by DH
DH is pretty good at dressing D, but when it comes to Liam, FORGET IT.
I swear the women at daycare must think our roommate is drunk a few mornings a week. Colours clashing, sweatpants with a dress shirt, etc.

LOL! I lay out A's clothes every single day, including socks or she goes in socks that don't match.
One day last week he thought the shirt I laid out didn't fit so he went on his own. He had her in super tight little leggings with a turtleneck onesie that was really tight, so her big belly was popping out over the leggings. He sent me a picture on the way to school and I was like "You gave my baby a muffin top!" He promised to tell daycare he called an audible so they didn't think I'd put that on her

A couple examples of DH dressing DD:
Plus it seems like he can only get her pants back on or buttoned after a diaper change about 30% of the time. He thinks she wants to go around w/o like he does! I wish I had a pic of his most recent outfit - flower tights, "baby's first Christmas" diaper cover and a very mismatched t-shirt. It was pretty funny.
this made me lol.
DH rarely has to dress DD and when he does he usually picks from one of the shirt/pant, skirt/pants etc. pairings that I have hanging in her closet.
The one day I left DH to dress DS for daycare, he failed to put socks on him (it's freakin' winter!!!) and he put him in clothes way too small. This also happened to be the morning he was supposed to make bottles for the first time. He only made two (DS needs 3 for daycare), he failed to put the little white disks to prevent the milk spilling (gotta love Dr. B's bottles), and he didn't put any lids on them. Luckily I checked his handywork before I left and made him try again. LOL
I'm good about only keeping what fits in her drawer, and I fold them into outfits when I put them away.
Nonetheless, DH has occassionally just yanked something out, didn't see what it went with, so yanked something else out...
think Jets onesie (green) with light pink pants, no socks.
No one else will ever know the strength of my LOVE for you. After all, you're the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside
Married to the Milk Man
I wish there were more pictures in this thread. That's a great idea. Can we do a "daddy dresses baby HDBD special"?
MH just picks the simplest clothes he can find, regardless of matching. Honestly, when he's in charge, I'm just thankful if he gets clothes on her.
MH loves dressing LO, which totally warms my heart. He's great about putting her in weather appropriate clothes that fit (I'm pretty good about only keeping the right size out, though, everything else is stored).
She looks mismatched no matter which of us dress her, though- I am not exactly fashion forward. Whatever. She's cute anyway!
This is my DH too! When we were visiting FIL at Christmas time, I bathed with M, then handed her off to DH to dress while I finished showering, etc. I gave him an outfit and when I came out of the bathroom Maya was wearing everything but the pants- DH told me that M said she didn't want to wear pants...
Ha! These are funny.
I don't have a problem with DH dressing him (he actually turned out pretty cute on their outing the other day), it's just when he feels the need to buy clothes. He shows up with things (albeit, cute things) with no regard to size or season. He bought a sweater and long sleeved overalls for him in 0-3, bought 3 month things for him when he was already in 6 month clothes, and this last set of clothes he came home with was a mix of 3 month, 6 month, and 9 month. It's like he just says, "Ooo, I like that," and grabs it.
