Successful ovulation after provera?

Has anyone had successful ovulation after taking provera? I had surgery (female but not reproductive related) a little over 3 months ago. I track my basal body temperature to know when I ovulate. Prior to surgery, I ovulated normally (although one cycle I ovulated late due to the stress of a vacation and finding out about the surgery). Since the surgery I have not had a period and I am on CD100. Fertility Friend said that I ovulated in December but I think it was be wrong because I would be on DPO25 if that were so. HPT is all negative using FMU and FRER. The gyno put me on provera to restart my cycle. I am really hoping that after the provera my body will go back to way it was before surgery.

If you were ovulating before the procedure it is very possible you will go back to ovulating after the Provera jump starts your period.  I have anovulatory PCOS so Provera doesn't help me with restarting my cycles and ovulating.

Thanks blueflower. I hope it does. My sister has PCOS so I am always afraid that I will have it too. She did successfully get pregnant taking clomid but she lost the baby. Now she is trying vitex and progrestrone cream. I have been TTC since May but I had to stop in October and November due to the surgery. Now I am just hoping to see AF again and start trying once again.
