It was simple weekend. We both felt like poo so we took care of house stuff and other than a trip out for groceries and school supplies stayed home. Watched some awesome playoff games and cuddled a lot on the couch.
Slept like crap last night because I am nervous/excited about starting grad school today. I will be dead on my feet by tomorrow though because I got up early to take DW to work and I am in class until 9 pm tonight. I will say this...I have been looking over my text books and they are awesome...I am such a nerd.
We had three BFN in the Fall of 2011. It is back on to some baby making come June. Swim little fellas, SWIM!!!!
LV - I love that you are so excited for SW classes!
Friday - Got Outback take out on the way home since L was still feeling crummy with the flu.
Saturday
- L stayed home to rest and recover while I took the kids to swimming
lessons and was supposed to get their haircut but it was cancelled. Took
them to a playground to meet up with some dads and their sons to play
and enjoy the awesome day. Ended up going to their house and not getting
home till nearly dinner time. L made dinner and we watched Something
Borrowed after the kids went to bed (cute.)
Sunday - L was
feeling better so we went to Panera for breakfast and grocery shopping.
Came home and alternated between lying around/resting and having Bey
Blade Battles with the kids. Decided to go get ice cream late in the
afternoon and spoiled everyones dinner, but it was worth it. After the kids went to bed, we watched Friends with Benefits (cute.)
It was a nice low-key weekend. I wish this beautiful weather would stick around. We are all so much happier when the kids can get outside and run run run.
Friday - K wanted sushi so JB and I met her at a local sushi place after work. Once DD was in bed K and I watched a few movies.
Saturday - I got up with JB while K slept in - until after 11am. :-p Eventually we went to Home Depot to get wood to lay a floor in the attic (to make more storage). When we got home, I went up in the attic and put the floor in while K packed up the Christmas decore.
Sunday - I took JB to a indoor playscape and then we ran a few errands. K did her own errand running. Like Saturday, JB refused to nap so eventually I gave up and we went to the grocery store. After JB went to sleep for the night I made dinner for Monday.

Worked all weekend -_- sigh. Leaving poor J home by herself for the first time in a long time. We've both been fighting off a bad cold all week that we just keep passing to each other.
Sunday at work I got really hot and started feeling light headed and throwing up. The head nurse at my job took my blood pressure twice and it showed it was 197/125!! She had to rush me to the ER. But all is well. It was just a fluke, they decided after I was monitored for an hour and a EKG.
Saturday we picked up my bro early and went to a bounce house. The weather was amazing so we spent the rest of the morning outside (hike, playground) then met up with my parents for pizza (we ate outside! in new england! in january!). Brought the kids home for rest while I cleaned out my car and DW put a new hose on the washer. After rest we went to once upon a child and got a bunch of new shirts for Sprout (his arms grew overnight. seriously). Grabbed a quick dinner and put the kids to bed. Then I went into the office for a few very late hours. ::sigh::
Sunday we had a lazy morning. Went grocery shopping and spent a little time at the playground. Home for lunch and rest. After rest I gave the big kids a bath. Then I went to an incredible church pageant (not like any church pageant I've ever seen! they had ballet dancers and a camel in.the.church - among many other things) with my mom while DW and the kids made cookies and homemade ice cream (which, apparently they ate for dinner along with some bologna?? oy).
Friday night we were both exhausted from work. We ordered pizza, ate it while watching Jeopardy!, and were in bed by 8:30.
I spent Saturday morning and afternoon sorting through file boxes, setting aside what I want to keep, and burning or throwing away the rest. I watched Sophie's Choice while working, which was a real laugh riot, as you may have heard. We went grocery shopping Saturday afternoon, which was a tactical error of major proportions - I usually go Sunday morning or evening, and it was a NUTHOUSE. I made Jen go to the cafe and sit with a drink instead of shopping with me, but she was still exhausted when we got home. I threw together my dishes for cookbook club (an elaborate chopped salad and ginger fried rice) and made a huge mess of the kitchen while Jen took a nap, which turned into her going to bed. I went to the party on my own, and stayed at my friend's house for a couple of hours afterward to hang out, since I didn't need to get Jen home to bed.
Spent most of Sunday finishing up the file boxes, except that now I have a big pile of uncategorized stuff, so I need to go through that tonight. We had dinner out with a friend last night and I had a delish bison burger. Afterward I ordered more maternity clothes for Jen, since she has already outgrown most of what she inherited from her sister and a friend. At 20 weeks. Thank goodness Old Navy has great sales - I got four tops and a pair of pants for $60.
BUSY. I emptied our two upstairs extra bedrooms and moved the stuff down to a lower bedroom to combine it all as our new office/craft room. We completely finished painting our girl's nursery (minus a little touch up), and I'm mostly done with the painting of our boy's room. Luckily Mel's parents & my Dad came to help with alot of the painting and even some cleaning!
Also we got all the cut outs done for the mobile, which we're making for our girl's nursery. Just need to assemble it all now. Now we're just waiting on the furniture to arrive...hopefully that will be soon because we ordered it 8 weeks ago already. It's all getting to be a lot more real now.

Most of the weekend was spent putting stuff away and trying to straighten up the kids rooms. We bought bathroom stuff for the kids bathroom, a fun shower curtain, bath mat, toothbrush holder, and soap pump. Not much else has gone on, we are slowly but surely getting settled in the new house.
Friday: I had an afternoon meeting at the hospital I'm moving to next month. My commute home was so blissfully easy. I can't wait to be that close to home. I picked up pizza and E and I had pizza and a movie night snuggled on the couch.
Saturday: We dropped off my steam vacuum cleaner at a repair shop, grabbed a quick lunch out and then went to see A Year with Frog and Toad at the children's theatre. It was a musical and E really enjoyed herself. Afterwards we came home and E was game for leftovers for dinner...easy peasy.
Sunday: The weather here was mild and partly sunny! So we packed up a lunch and headed to the zoo for the day. We had a great time and managed to see both some indoor and outdoor exhibits and the indoor exhibits helped keep us warm. E spent about an hour playing in the indoor kids play area at the zoo. We grabbed dinner at a new restaurant close to home and then a few groceries. Home where I made a new recipe of chicken taquitos which we'll eat for dinner tonight.
I think I did one load of laundry and no other chores all weekend, but we had a blast. This weekend was all about E. Happy mommy happy kiddo...all that matters.

And I forgot the best part - I felt the babies move for the first time. Not sure I have ever been that amazed/delighted/in love in my life.
