We're looking for preschools in the South Minneapolis area (willing to go to parts of Edina/Richfield/St. Paul) and I'm having a hard time finding something that I LOVE. Ideally it would not be a "center" type of school, more of a church basement type of nursery school...not a daycare type. I'd also like there to be some type of "security", like key card or code access to the building/classroom area. We looked at a couple schools that I really liked, but they seemed really accessible to anyone who happened to be walking past.
Suggestions?
Re: Preschool rec's?
My DD and your DS have the same birthday in May! Where did you deliver?
We go to Bright Prospects Co-op Preschool - right behind the East Lake St Library in Longfellow - is in the basement of Trinity Lutheran Church, though not affiliated with the church, they just rent space. We LOVE it. Great teachers, it's a co-op preschool, so it's parent run, you have to volunteer in the classroom once a month, etc, but it works great for us and its nice to be involved in your child's school.
We also have friends that send their kid to Urban Arts Academy Preschool - https://www.urbanartsacademy.org/ and they really like it. And it's an all day preschool, which is kind of nice.
Oh how cool
