Boy/Girl first birthday ideas

Hi ladies,

I hope you don't mind, Im coming over from 3T. My sister has boy/girl twins and their 1st birthday is in 5 weeks. She is having trouble finding ideas for boy/girl themes. Any ideas you want to share would be great. Thanks again. :)

    We did a sweet shoppe theme. TONS of ideas on Pinterest.  Other ideas I've seen are "milk & cookies", monkeys, owls, Mickey & Minnie, and Thing 1/Thing 2.

    We're doing Thing1/Thing2/Dr. Suess for our b/g twins first birthday in March.  I also thought about doing jungle animals after I saw some super cute stuff on Pinterest, but DH voted for Suess, so Suess it is.

    We did a western Cowboy/Cowgirl theme for their first.  It was cute.

    We did pink and blue baby elephant theme, I found it on birthday express, it was from a company called creative converting. We did pink & blue cookie with their intitials, and a matching cake and cupcakes. It was really sweet.

    They turn two in about 6wks and we are doing Mickey/Minnie, they are really into mickey now!
