Today Abbey had two hard painful BMs earlier...for one of them it was coming out as DH was changing her dipe and she was crying in pain...it was so heartbreaking...we both jut held her hands and tried to comfort her...
But the later she had a MASSIVE blowout...it smelled super sweet though! Guess the prunes and prune juice worked their magic...she was so much happier afterward!

Oh no! Poor thing! I think the prune juice is supposed to be better. I mixed it 50/50 with water and gave her sips with lunch and throughout the day...
I'm a serious poop inspector...I have always had problems with constipation due to my endometriosis and I don't want DD to have them too
I've been trying to give him prune juice for the last couple of days, but he hasn't been that interested. I'm going to keep trying, though...and continue with the jarred prunes.
Have you tried pear juice too? This is probably silly but, part of me wonders if having prunes everyday makes them lose their effectiveness. Maybe we need to switch it up? IDK...I'm desperate. Poor babies!

Thanks for your response. Yea, I'd forgotten about Abigail getting prune juice everyday. I just hope LO will take it...he used to love it and now isn't so sure. How does Abigail take it? In a bottle? Sippy?
jenny_jeff...sorry! I feel like I hijacked your post!

LOL not at all! Abbey had her juice in both a bottle and a sippy cup (she's always been pretty laid back with any type of drinking method...I'm lucky cause I could nurse and bottle feed bm without any issues). But if neither of those work, another good trick is a straw....put some in the straw, cover the top with finger and release it into LO mouth. I do this with water in restaurants and she finds it fun...
