Would you mind telling me what type of car seats are in your sig pic?

I have 4 year old twins and just found out I'm pregnant with #3. I have a Toyota 4-Runner and really have no desire to get a new car. Just looking for a way to fit three across without going to the store and actually trying out car seats. Thanks!

    those are sunshine radian 80s - LOVE them.

    you can fit 3 seats across most cars - it's about how you install them.

    DH has a Ford Escape and has 3 across (had 2 infant seats + a convertible early on, now 3 convertible seats, the Cosco ones)... you just have to install with the seatbelts and not the latch.

    Latch install pulls seats towards the middle and wastes space - seatbelt install is just as safe and gives you more space.

    my oldest is going to be 5 in march and big (size 6 for about 6mo now)... and he fits great in the seat - it goes up to 80lbs.

     

    I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.
