My Iz has recently switched from the infant seat to the toddler chair. My question is what do you when you go someplace where your child should be semi confined at times like at church?
We don't go to church, but if I take her to my OB appointments or the meetings I go to for H's work, I bring her stroller and give her Cheerios to keep her happy/quiet.
I guess I don't get it. Why don't you just hold your kid? Or use a stroller is he/she's wiggly and sit at the end of the pew towards the back?
Sorry, but this seems like a total non-issue to me... if I take Lucian somewhere with me, he's held or in the stroller. Period. Bring some snacks, a sippy and some fairly quiet toys.

We are lucky to have a nursery at church so it's not an issue for us there thankfully. My toddler will never stay in a pew for a whole hour.
Anywhere else like doctors appts, etc I just hold them. I made a Quiet Bag full of little games, toys and coloring books that are meant to keep them distracted and quiet. Last time we were walk-ins at the doctors office and we waited for over an hour. They just sat and played the whole time, the bag was a life-saver
Here's a LINK to some of the things we have in our bag to keep the kids quiet and busy. Hope this helps.

We haven't used one in forever. The stroller is my go-to. And I have a booster seat that attaches to the side of the table that I bring to restaurants. I don't go to church though (oops).
