I am the Godmother for my best friend's DD. Tomorrow is the Baptism. I'm planning on wearing a black and white polka dotted dress (dots very small). It has a red skinny belt. It is a great dress and fits me well. Would it totally be totally inappropriate to wear red patent leather heels? It's a Catholic church if that matters.
Re: NBR: Appropriate or not for baptism?
Okay great! Actually I went with my mother today to find the dress and we thought red heels would be cute with it. But then after the fact, I was wondering if people would be looking at me funny with my scandelous red high heels.
Thanks ladies!
Harlot, lol! You'll look great!

Sounds cute! Having grown up in the Church, all I can suggest is make sure you have your shoulders completely covered. Technically, the skirt should be to the knee, but meh.
I wore leorpard print peep toe stilettos to Jackson's baptism. I got a couple compliments on them so people definitely noticed, but if anyone thought it was bad, they didn't say anything.
How did you guys know?!
Dress itself is definitely appropriate. Neckline is high enough to show no boobage, it has cap sleeves and it's tea length. Thanks!
