I am not huge on nicknames, but every now and then it's nice to have little term of endearment names. Lily has 'Lil'. Xander has 'Xan'.

 Hayden has never really had one, so I was thinking on this and came up with 'Haddie'. I just looked it up and it is a dim. for Hadden, which is pretty close, sounding, to Hayden. Also the meaning is "Home ruler" which totally fits our little bossy pants. Do you think it works as a "nickname" for Hayden?

Is your Hayden a boy? If so, I don't think it works. It sounds too much like Hattie.

Yes, nicknames are free game anyway It's sweet. She will probably like it. I have the same problem with Hudson, so the poor guy has like 10 various nicknames we call him. lol

I think it's super cute, and don't see why you couldn't use it as a nickname Hayden. Pretty much anything goes for nicknames, IMO, anyway.

Also, not to be a creepy stalker or anything, but I really enjoyed looking through your blog just now lol.  I think reading about the story of multiples is so interesting!  All 4 of your kiddos are too cute!

I think it totally works and love it.  But the only "issue" (for lack of a better word) is that the nn and the fn are the same number of syllables and I generally think if nn's as being shorter than the fn.  (I don't think its a reason not to use it, just a thought that came to my mind that I wanted to share).

Fink..I did notice that too. I guess I just feel with the 'ie' ending it gives it that sweet, cutesy, nicknamey ending kwim?
