Making a donation

I have started cleaning to make room for our new little boy. I have cleaned out the closets and even the pantries. Would anyone know if the Salvation Army takes shoes, pots & pans, and even tv's? I don't want it in my hous anymore.

Re: Making a donation

  • I think so.

The diabetes association will also come and pick them up.

  • They typically do. If not there are probably lots of other organizations in your area that do. Here we have Disabled Veterans, Goodwill, and we have a Children's hospital that has a thrift store. Just call around and ask and they can tell you drop off spots, or sometimes they will even come pick stuff up.

  • Please also consider your local domestic violence center. They take everything to help (usually) women & children start over. That includes housewares. You will need to call, as the address is not usually public & set up a time to drop off.
