I know a few of us have them after Christmas - so when using yours, do all of you get an electrical smoke smell, or is it just me?
It held up fine (yet smelly) when I made sunbutter and peanut butter, but I was making a few Green Monsters last week and it actually shorted out or something. It was 90% blended, but I opened it up to add a couple of cubes of ice, ground that up, and BAM! Error codes.
It began to work again after I left it unplugged for about 10 mins, and I've made a few more Green Monsters since then with no issue - but I do smell that lovely burning wire.
Anyone else get that when using theirs?
Re: Cusinart Personal Blender Question
I don't have a Cuisinart personal blender, but this happens to me when I use my Cuisinart food processor.
ETA: Mine also starts to smoke, so I'm assuming it's overheating or something. I just unplug it and it starts to work again after a few minutes.
Hmmm.. I have one of their mini food processors, and it doesn't smell - which is I guess what trips me up on it. Then again, its about six years old and presumably the new smelling stuff has burned off after that long?
