College. A friend "wanted to go meet some guys" freshman year.  DH was a roommate of more social guys who invited us over.  We talked maybe  four times that year, but the next year we really hit it off.

We went to elementary school together, but did not officially become friends until I was a junior in high school. I had a huge crush on him in middle school, and even cut his picture out of my yearbook to put into a heart picture frame. I am such a nerd.

Luckily, when we officially met, he liked me too.

We met in high school when I was a sophomore and he a senior. We went to prom together as friends. We lost touch when he went to college. Then we ran into each other at the zoo one summer a few years later. I had taken my cousin, and he was a camp counselor on a field trip.

We met at a bar/restaurant July 30th, 2009. By the end of August, we knew we wanted to get married. During the month of August I was out of the country for two weeks and we skyped whenever I had the chance. By mid September, we had paid for our wedding. January 16th, 2010, we got married. And we are still madly in love and trying to have as many kids as possible before my body can't produce anymore.

I met my husband in middle school I only lived here for 4 months that time but apparently we made an impression on eachother. He remembered me since he was my first boyfriend and I remembered him because he kissed like a big, sloppy guppy.

I was at an interview in one of our local prisons when someone started yelling my name. I turned thinking "great an inmate knows my name...go fricking figure" instead it was some chunky guy (I was a snob at the time...VERY OVER MYSELF). I had to read the name on his jacket before I remembered who he was lol. Long story short- we had both gotten out of long term relationships (my fiance left me for another girl, his wife cheated on him and dumped him and his daughter). I didn't want to date but he was persistant and one date into it we knew we'd get married lol! Best part? I got the ultimate two for one deal lol all the joy of having a daughter without the effot =p

Ocean city when I was there for "Senior Week". He worked with my sister and we met up with him and his friends. A few months later I met his friends at the racetrack and him and I ended up kicking it off...the rest is history

My DH was friend with my older sister and I couldn't stand him!!  We were in junior high and he used to tell me I was adopted and nobody liked me (in a jokingly way not a mean way).  He also used to steal my baseball hats so I would have to chase him down to get them back!   Ahh young love!  Somehow we got lucky to meet so young and actually recognize what we had.  We started dating in 1996, bought our house in 2006, and got married in 2009.  And we still like each other lol!

At our local mall on October 25th, 2003 ( I remember because it was the day after my 18th birthday). He worked for Cingular and tried to sell me a phone. I never got the phone, but I got him!

I went online to a social networking site called Nexopia, I was 20 and had been drinking with friends earlier. I was looking around at profiles and saw his page where he was complaining about women hurting him, etc. Being attracted to damaged men I messaged him saying 'Hey, we're not all bad!' (I was going through stuff too, always trying to be in a relationship, fighting being single as I was 20)

He ended up messaging me back and asking to go for coffee. We met for coffee and we spent hours talking about EVERYTHING. Our past relationships, our lives, etc. I think we were there for 7 hours.

We ended up just hooking up a few times and lost touch, it wasn't anything serious, just enjoyed each others company. I lost my phone and didn't know that months later he was still trying to contact me. I went online one day 8 months later and he was on too (after having met and dated two guys in the meantime and breaking up, I was okay with being single for once). We met up the very next day, saw a movie, his car got towed and he got upset. We met up with a friend of mine and he had two or three beers and it got him drunk (he's a lightweight and doesn't really drink). He then told me he couldn't stop thinking about me and wanted me to be his girlfriend.

That was four and a half years ago

We met at his work. He is the general manager of a restaurant and I was there dining. His bartender lied to us both, and said she thought we each liked the other. We ended up talking as a result, and went on our first date 2 weeks later.

We met on a fishing trip I went on.  I went with a guy I dated on and off for three years and his roommate and girlfriend.  His roommate's brother Doug also came, who I had never met.  When I saw him I said to myself this is the guy I am going to marry.  Within two weeks he had moved to Houston to be with me.  We got engaged after a month and married the following year.  That was five years ago!
