F/U - Went to be reg doc appt....BIRTH STORY

I posted earlier that I went to my reg doc appt and found out I was 5 cm. I had a previous c-section and was "considering" a VBAC, although I schedule my section for next week Friday.

Once I found out I was 5 cm, I decided what the heck ... go for it! I'm SO happy I did.

I slowly dialated to 6 and had bag of waters broken.

I decided to have the epi and after numerous tries to place it, it finally was in. HOWEVER, it only numbed my legs and not my mid section! GRRR...This went on for hours and finally they moved my catheter and gave me a bigger dose. AHHH - Relief!

I was 7 cm, 80%. Literally an hour later the nurse checked me and I was +3 and 10cm! WHOA. My doc arrived 15 min later and I literally pushed for 10 minutes before Miss Capri was born! It was incredible.

What a beautiful experience and I'm so happy I went with the VBAC.

She's now sleeping and not only can I eat anything I want (different than my section experience) I'm already up and walking around! WOOT!
