XP: False BFP 10dpo from ovidrel shot?

Hi  ladies - I'm hoping you can ease my mind a bit! I tested yesterday, 10dpo and got a BFP on a first response and a clear blue digital. I had the ovidrel 250mcg shot to trigger ovulation and I'm wondering if it's still in my system and causing a false positive bc I tested again this morning (11dpo) and I got a BFN. Anyone else have a similar experience?  Any insight/advice is welcome! Thanks so much!!
Me:28 DH:32. Married Sept 2008. TTC since Sept 2009. Bloodwork & HSG April 2011: all clear. DX Sept 2011: unexplained infertility (DH w/ retrograde). 11/30/11: u/s 2 follicles at 23mm and 25mm; ovidrel trigger. 12/2/11: IUI #1. 12/15/11: BFN. 12/26/11: u/s 3 follicles at 28mm, 29mm, and 31mm; ovidrel trigger. 12/27/11: IUI #2. 1/5: BFP (result of trigger shot?) 1/6: BFN 1/7 thru 1/9: BFP!! 1/10: confirmed pregnant! 1st beta 205; progesterone 41. 1/13: 2nd beta...     Everyone metabolizes the trigger differently.  There are many ladies who still have it in their system 11 or 12 dpo, so it's possible that at 10dpo it was still in your system and caused a false positive, esp. since you got a negative at 11dpo.  Have you tested out the trigger on prior cycles to figure out how quickly your body processes the meds?

    No I never checked before. I knew I should have just waited until day 14 to test! Ah patience is a virtue. Thanks for your help!!

    I was always told to wait 14 days after the shot.
