Happy Friday, Mamas! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, now get to confessing. I can't think of anything just yet but maybe your confessions will make me remember something.
I confess that earlier this week you ladies told me use condoms this week since I missed a BC pill. Well, I got caught up in the moment last night and forgot. Oops!
Oh, and I am secretly ecstatic about finally being a Silver Poster!!!
I'm not sure that I've ever done a FFFC, but here goes!
On Wednesday, I had to go #2 really bad. And I was home alone with DD and she was having a fussy, need-my-mama kind of evening. So I knew she would freak if I left her to go to the bathroom. So I took DD, the boppy (in case she fell over), and the poppin dino into our bathroom, which can barely fit two adults comfortably, and did my thing while she played. Problem solved

I've done this before too...haha
I should add that I washed my hands before touching DD or the balls laying all over my bathroom floor.

Kudos to you for having sex! I'm wondering when I'll get my mojo back.

What is with all the pacifier posts lately? It seems like now that our babies are six months everyone thinks the paci should be immediately banished. My FFC is that J uses his paci for comfort when he is sleepy and I'm in no rush to take that away from him.
I'm really jealous of all the people pregnant again. DH and I wanted to start trying in October so I started weaning DS then but it's January and I still haven't gotten AF. I've gone back to charting and everything and no sign of Oing or AF. I wish my body would go ahead and get back to normal.
I confess that I would be less than upset if I was laid off from my job. It's soul sucking and a complete mess. I've been semi-looking for a new position but I like that I'm a WAHM and am in no rush to give that up.

We still bedshare and nurse all night, mostly because when I put him in his crib he screams and I HATE CIO for more than 5 minutes max! However we will start working on crib transition when I get off 12 hour shifts! Maybe... !
I am not taking pureed solids seriously. I don't want D to grow up. He nurses just like he normally does. I am not looking forward with cloth diapering the new style of poop. I also love to breastfeed and don't want to stop anytime soon. D does get BLW and such like that. We also give him one half of a jar of puree a day, but some days we miss totally. He is in the 60% in weight, so he is getting nutriment.
Also, we had an 'accident'(wasn't an accident just us being lazy) the other night... which I am ok with. It took us a long time till we conceived D and if I get pregnant I will be extremely surprised. So I maybe POAS soon...

Pinterest has made me a better mother. We have done so many crafts thanks to that website. I spend way more time interacting with my 3 year old instead of having him hang out on his own.
NickieChan-- The mess in the CD isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. We just dump the poo in the toilet. The worst one we've had so far we had to use a wipe to get it off into the toilet. We've been on solids 1x a day for like 6 weeks now... but I do know it's going to get worse.
This isn't terribly juicy or flameworthy, maybe just pathetic lol. DH is working and won't be home until tomorrow. I lied to him and told him I was on my way to boot camp this morning when I have no intention of going. I'm so tired so Rylee and I are going to laze around for a while and eat blueberry scones then go to the library. I have no intention of being too productive today so I'm going to tell him Ry is cranky. He was home with her yesterday and she was a mess so he'll believe me.
I thought I made a confession from my phone, but maybe not...hmm.
I no longer wash every single piece of clothing A gets before she wears it. I used to wash ever single thing. Now there are times I need it sooner than I've done the wash. So far. So good.

our mess is pretty bad. Def not ploppable or dumpable. Like a thick paste....hence my sprayer order. lol

me too. Then she got a rash and that was the first thing the pedi asked me. Made me feel great! Ugh. They just look so fresh and un wrinkled at first. I hate ironing. The rash wasn't from that though.

The bad thing is... We have a sprayer. I guess I am just lazy and don't like mess to deal with pureed.

My confession is that I don't want to gomback to work in August. I love teaching, and if I could just go in the classroom, do my thing, and leave I'd be all over it. But my stomach gets in knots when I talk to my friends and they use education jargon that I'm am so over (accountability, formative and summative assessment, rigor, and in my case IEP, re-eval, 10 day notice). I'd take a 10k pay cut just to not have to follow every.single.rule that goes along with public school teaching.

Us too. It is easier said than done to transition to a crib. I spent all day trying yesterday and I just can't do it. She ended up sleeping on the couch next to me... My confession is that I am going to start letting her to sleep on the floor instead of the crib and tell my husband I am still trying. He isn't helping at all! A lesser step but hopefully it will get her to a crib not the car seat.

I understand. Bedsharing is just easier for us right now. Especially with him still nursing at night.
My oldest DD had a pacifier until she was 3 yo. It brought her great comfort. I have no plans in the immediate future to wean Avery from it. I will know when she is no longer needs it and at that time I will take it from her.
My confession: I have been here since 8 a.m. It is now 9:30 and the only thing I have managed to get done today is fax back a confirmation for a room booking. And read through emails. That's pretty much it. Still waiting on my motivation to get work done.

Another confession: I really want to throw people out the window when they say "I have no IDEAL". It's IDEA people, IDEA!
Sorry to bring up grammer/spelling issues again, I know it's been done over and over. This lady at work just throws me over the edge sometimes.
I've never heard anyone say that! yikes!
It's probably a midwest thing. But, DH's family does it alot and it bugs the crap out of me. I am not all that great with grammer, spelling, etc. but that is something that bothers me.
My mom said idear which annoys me! My dad made sure I didn't get that from her. She also says q-pons for coupons, liberry for library lol, gotta love her.
My confession: I didn't go to the dentist for four years. I went yesturday I have 6 cavities, not bad ones but still not fun. At least I bit the bullet and went, I want to set a good example for my son.
We don't even have our crib set up, or a crib mattress. We just keep putting it off, L spends about 89% of the time in our bed that I just don't see the point. Plus the girls will be sharing a room, I am scared to death to put L in there. I KNOW I will find A in her crib, and who knows the toys and such I will find in there.

My MIL says things like "Do you need to go bathroom," "Are you wearing underwearS," and "mineS." Drives me absolutely nuts.

i don't understand when people are snarky out of no where on here. and saying "not trying to be snarky" or adding a doesn't take away from the fact that you are being snarky. i can understand if you try to address something nicely and it doesn't work, but sometimes i feel like people think just b.c this in the internet there is no need to consider feelings and/or don't feel the need to be polite. i also think the lack of face to face interaction allows us to be snarky w/o out real consequences.

Yesterday I didn't have any clean underwear so I just wore my bathing suit bottoms. Oops. Guess I need to do laundry...or buy more underwear.
Ha! This one made me laugh, I could probably go a year with out doing laundry and never run out of underwear - I own way too many pairs of undies and pj's!

I haven't been taking solids seriously either. He just doesn't seem interested. Half the time he naps all evening, wakes up, breastfeeds and goes back down for the night. He turns his head away when I try, blows it back in my face or just cries. I see these other babies who get so excited for their food...not mine. Oh well, he'll eat eventually, right?
