37 weeks - no progress

So I am 37 weeks today and I had an OB appointment and the baby has not dropped - no dilation and my cervix is high and closed - they still want to induce at 39 weeks since I have had so many problems this pregnancy - so with only two weeks to go I was hoping to make some progress.

Anyone else in the same position as me??

not in the same position as you, but start trying natural methods to induce.  Yes baby will only come out when it's ready, but maybe if you and your H start "gettin it on" it'll coax your baby out!  Try pressure points and yoga too maybe.  GL!

I am 39w 3d and have been 1cm and 60% for 4 weeks! trying to relax and enjoy it!

I'm in the same situation. My appointment is tomorrow but I don't think anything is happening. She hasn't turned, therefore she hasn't dropped. Dr. Also wants to induce at 39 weeks, as long as she has turned. They are now concerned baby is big, I will find out more tomorrow hopefully.

I am 39 weeks and 2 days and I am 1 cm and maybe 20% effaced. I have been this way for 3 weeks now and have tried everything from castor oil, sex, primrose oil, teas, pinapple,  even more castor oil, and membrane stripping. Still no progress. And he doesnt want to induce me since My body is just not ready. Ive been crying all day.

I just got back from my 37 week appointment--no progress here either, but the hospitals here won't induce before 41 weeks so I have plenty of time.  Good Luck!

Yep.  I am 39 weeks and 3 days.  Not dilated at all, not effaced, and the baby has not dropped.   I am at a -3 station. 

The good news is I am having constant contractions for 3 days now that have still made no progress at all, so at least I am able to enjoy contractions for no reason at all:)

I don't know the status of my cervix, as I haven't had an internal yet but I do find it frustrating to read about everyone else losing their mucus plug, water breaking and bloody show.  I wish my body would kick it up a notch and give me a sign like that.  Just plain old Braxton Hicks very frequent, not painful but definitely uncomfortable.

Same here, had my appointment today and no progress at all.  Not I'm in a crappy mood because I was just so sure I'd be a few weeks early.  Guess I need to get in touch with reality and try to be more patient.  I'm just so excited for her to get here.
