Can you report back? I've been wondering if cooking them would make them thicker (even though that goes against logic) because they're super runny when I puree them raw.

Yes, and they take less time than apples. DS loves them, and so do I! I don't know why they don't market pearsauce - it's delicious!
Yes- I steam the pears just like the apples and it turns out great. C loves them!
FWIW- I read that steaming preserves more of the food's nutrients than boiling does.
I steamed mine in the Brezza. It is by far Ian's favorite.
