Maternity Support Belt/Stockings

Did anyone use either of these?  I talked to my OB about the pressure and swelling that I've got going on and she said to get these full length maternity compression stockings.  These things go from your toes to over your belly and I have to go and get fitted for them.  I'm wondering if the support belt would help relieve the pressure or I should just go through and get them.  They don't look very comfy but hey, maybe they would be more than what I've got going on.

I had RLP with dd and had to wear a belt - not all the time but I used it while I was working.  It was ok - if you need one see if your insurance will cover it.  Mine covered 80% bc my dr wrote a RX and I took it to the medical supply store.  I did not need to use it this time, I guess all my ligaments were nice and loose haha

I actually saw an ad for these in one of the magazines in OB's office ... I want to say the website is www.rupreggers.com ... maybe?? they really just look like leggings, IF these are the things that you're talking about. I thought about getting them and wearing them under my regular pants since I wouldn't be caught dead on the street in leggings (I'm a big girl!). HTH.
