Cloth Diapering

Does anyone sew their own covers?

FTM here :) I've done some research on CDing and I plan on using prefolds with covers.  Does anyone sew their own covers?  I've seen patterns that look like they're for AIOs, but no cover patterns.  Some of the nicer covers are so expensive and it seems like it would be significantly cheaper to make your own. Also, what materials do you use and where do you buy them? Thanks!

  • Thanks. I'll check it out :)
  • The larger JoAnn stores offer a class on making diaper covers.  I'm taking the class next Saturday.  As PP said, they carry Babyville Botique products.  www.babyvillebotique.com

  • Pretty sure you can use the Darling Diapers Unlimited for covers (and AIOs, and fitteds, and pockets, etc. hence the "unlimited" haha). They have excellent instructions and it's a nice overall pattern.
