Low dose naltrexone

Anyone take it?   My Dr. prescribed it as a treatment for my endometriosis.  Apparently it is used for auto-immune issues, crohns, MS, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia and so forth.   I've been on for about a week.

Curious how you felt on and if it made a difference?

Re: Low dose naltrexone

  • Hey Trippleb!  No comments for you on the naltrexone, but wanted to say "hey"!  I had an u/s this morning and kept the lucky little lady bug tight in my hand and now have fourteen measurable follies!  Yahoo!  Thank you.

I hope the new script helps make a difference for you!

  • fourteen!  That's a great start!  Is this your best response?  I mean I know things can change quickly, but have you had a number like this at this stage before?

Good Luck BeeBee.  Hoping this is your lucky cycle!

Thanks!  It's my first attempt so I can't say whether it's good or not but I can say I'm really happy with it!  I had your socks on the first time.  And lots of luck to you too!

  • oh my gosh! Duh!  For some reason I thought you had done IVF before.  I should have looked at your stats first.

No worries on the hijack, I don't think it's a very common drug for IF.  Doubt anyone will respond.

  • I use it and can't live without it.  I wake up screaming in the middle of the nite with arthritic pain.  I feel sluggish and overall lousy without it.  With it, I have energy, feel 50-60% better.  I added the Iodine Protocol to my life as well and that really has helped too.  I can't get any of my doctors to write the rx, so I order it online from alldaychemist - dot.com.  Haven't ever had any trouble with getting it from them.  Been on it two years.  Did go down to 3.0 for awhile, but the pain was back.  So back to 4.5 and sailing along like life is great!  Used to be bedridden before it.  And life sucked big time!  So, am going to take it for the rest of my life!  It is awesome and I wish the FDA would see their way to authorizing the low dose, but then maybe the price would become outrageous like the other drugs that they have "reformulated" and are now ripping us off on.  Cheap, wonderful and a life saver in my humble opinion.
