I try to wear mine all the time. Lately I keep getting sores underneath. I think it's from getting wet and not drying completely. So I keep having to take them off days at a time. I HATE not wearing them. I am so proud of what they represent. I love being maried. I went out once with out them and had Avery with me. Some guy kept staring at me and I saw him looking at my left hand. I just wanted to scream "I'm Married!" ahahaha.
I love seeing everyones rings! I'm going to show mine now. I hadn't thought of having them souldered. That is neat.

Soldered together. I love mine though. DH had me select several rings when we were looking, and he said he was excited because the one I picked was one he had his eye on. My wedding band was made custom to match the e-ring. So I think my wedding band wouldn't look right without my e-ring. I wear mine to work and out, but if I'm around the house I usually have them off. I don't know how many times I've caught Kally's skin with the diamond. =(
I have the same E-ring.
My e ring is very similar too. My w band is plain but has "love conquers all" engraved on the inside. I never wore them at work but since I SAH now, I never take them off. I love them.
I had mine welded together, so I wear both. I love my engagement ring and my wedding band though. They are pretty simple and probably very similar as to what I would have picked out myself. E-ring is 4 pronged-round cut with small diamonds embedded in the band. My wedding band is the same as the sides of the e-ring.
Exactly this, minus them being welded together. Our rings sound very similar. Here is pic of mine
Mine looks almost the same but is princess cut. I LOOOOOOVE it and keep telling DH I need one more all-diamond band to go on the other side of the e-ring to balance it out
I wear my engagement ring to work and anytime we go out. Its a solitare with a diamond band. I picked it out and really like it. I hardly ever wear it around the house though. I just wear my wedding band which has channel set diamonds.

I wasn't going to reply, because I don't even HAVE an engagement ring, but DAMN. I think my ring is getting an inferiority complex!
I have a claddagh ring, which is an all-in-one promise, engagement, and wedding ring, inset with 10 little diamonds. It's exactly what I wanted, though, so I can't really complain about not having a bigger ring!
My first wedding band/e-ring was soldered together. It was a maraquis cut and I literally cut anyone around me. I cut a hole in DH's thumb one time and I have scarped DS along his back when he was an infant so I quit wearing while my babies were little. For our 10th DH got me a new band. Nothing pokes out and it's simple and elegant at the same time. I love my new band.

I tell DH the same thing ...lol...so far its fallen on deaf ears
As for the question, yes. i always wear my e-ring. DH designed it himself and it makes me happy that he put so much thought into it
(added pic because i love looking at everyone?s ring)

I have to wear mine, because my wedding band is too big, so it holds my wedding band on. Both were too big, but we got the engagement ring re-sized for this purpose. I didn't want to get my wedding band re-sized because it is engraved.
I love my engagement ring, but I don't like wearing rings in general. I have really dry hands, which always end up scabby/cracked, especially in the winter, and I feel like wearing rings exacerbates the issue. However, DH gets really upset when I don't wear the rings, so I pretty much always do, except when I'm sleeping or showering.

I love my engagement ring but sadly it doesn't fit anymore. Neither does my wedding band and when I was pregnant DH lost his at the YMCA so during the summer we got wedding band tattoos.

I love my engagement ring and wedding band! I showed DH pictures of the style I liked for a ring, granted what I really wanted was an Ascher cut ring but those are like 2 carats and up and DH could not spend that kind of a budget. I love the emerald cut though. I wear mine everyday unless I'm showering, washing dishes or while I'm asleep.

Both my e-ring and my wedding ring were custom made (the e-ring using a vintage band/setting from one ring we already had, and a diamond from another ring we had, and the wedding ring made from scratch to match it). I wear them together, but if I was going to ditch one, it would be the wedding ring, which is just a thin, simple band. I wouldn't give up my diamond!
sunset+skies, I always think it's funny comparing rings with people. At my office or in my neighborhood, I have a total inferiority complex, as the women I work with and live near have ridiculously expensive, gorgeous sparkly rings and I have one relatively small stone. But when I go visit my sister, who has more modest means than me and DH, my stone seems huge in comparison to the tiny diamond chips in her ring, and I'm grateful I don't have a more extravagant one. Mine is representative of where DH and I were in our lives when it was purchased, and I like the story behind it, so I try not to compare, though I do still love looking at other women's gorgeous rings!
