XP liver function test?

Reese has had jaundice since we got home, he has had the blood tests almost daily and was under the lights at the hospital for 3 days. The dr. finally said we were in the clear last week. He was up throwing up all night so we went to the dr. today for that and he was surprised at how yellow Reese still is so he is making us do a liver function test in the morning. He made it seem like it is a big deal, we have to go to the hospital in the morning, and it includes taking blood from the artery in his neck. I am terrified right now. Anyone else had one done?

    UPDATE!!! We went to the specialist she looked at Reese, checked his liver ect. and then decided that he does not need the blood test, and he is on his way to recovery! YAY! So we will take him back to see her when he gets his six week immunization shots and she will check his liver again then, but she is confident that he is just fine!!
