My Aunt is a B!*%

She has shown up to my house two times to my house to visit my mom since she is in town for a few months to help us babysit my LO.

Both times while she has been sick as a dog. 1st time she got me sick for 8 days after thanksgiving!!!! BF moms know that we can't just take anything...Thankfully my DD didn't get sick. 2nd time (last week) she shows up with her granddaughter who is coughing up a lung and now DD is soooo sick..I can't time anytime off from work since I took it all for maternity leave, plus the FMLA, and all that I could. 4 months total. I don't want to keep asking for time off, I get embarrassed with my boss. :(..... I think I am going to confront my aunt AGAIN!

First time I told her it would have been nice to know that she was sick she said "your baby will be fine, she needs to build immunities" It makes me so mad that I work extra hard to keep my LO bundled IF we even leave the house when it's cold for her to just come and bring her nasty germs in my house. AGHHHH!!!! Vent Over.

    Next time that happens simply ask her to leave your home. You have a right to protect your child, it is not up to her to decide if your lo needs to build up immunities.

    Ugh, I feel you. I used up almost all of my sick leave on maternity leave. I've been infuriated with DH a couple of times when K wasn't feeling good and I ended up taking off because he wouldn't, even though he has like a bazillion sick hours.

    I've got a rude aunt as well, but thankfully she hasn't come around when she was sick.... I would be super ticked if she did.
