 To use them from the App center(through Leapfrog Connect)  there is a section on the right hand side that says "redemption" or something like that.

Originally I found it on the Leapfrog FB page (not posted by Leapfrog, just posted by some random fan). I did not download them at the time but I remembered yesterday, so I just googled "free leappad App codes" and found a mom blog with them on it.
