Watching threads?

I have clicked on the "watch this thread" on a couple of threads now and it changed to "watching this thread" I found the section on the left at the bottom that is called "threads i'm watching" but when I click on it there is no threads in there. I'm really computer illiterate. Am I doing something wrong for it not to work?
