I just got a call from a preschool up by me (that we have been on the waiting list for a YEAR for) to let me know that a spot has suddenly opened up for T and TH...so I might as well send Leah, right?? haha...let's get this all over with.
Send her. She will love it. And it will be nice for each of them to have their own school to be proud of. It may even make it easier on E knowing the L is going to her own preschool too. Not to mention the Mommy time for you!
Side note on my kids and preschool, today Tyler started riding the bus to school again after me dropping him off for a year. Brianna cried when he got on the bus today, half because he was leaving and half because she wasn't going to school on the bus herself. Everyday she asks if it is her school day, she goes 2X a week. but just as much as they love going, they love seeing me at when they are done!
He definitely did better today. He didn't scream when being dropped off. He still had a few moments during the day - and I think it's hard for them to get him to finish an activity to start another before he is ready.
I don't think we can send her this year. It would be a 40 minute drive from her school to his since it's 10 minutes in the opposite direction. The ONLY way I could send her is if Evan took the bus home. And I don't know if I will ever be ready to do that for how far they are away. But maybe next fall.
I'll probably end up going with a program closer to Evan's school.
