Preschool registration opened today at our school

Seriously people it's JANUARY!  I feel like this is so early but I registered him because all of the good slots are gone by February 1.

Our is in March and luckily DS1 is already "in" for Prek4.  They drastically cut the PreK3 program and had DD not attended school at the same school.  We probably wouldn't have got a slot.

I am pretty sure our preschool had alumni registration through 1/1 then it was open for all.  I didn't pay much as Paige will be starting K next year.

Ks deposit is due Jan 18th. I held her spot back in September. We use a really popular preschool and I missed out on getting her into Mom's morning out because I mistakenly thought that July was early enough. :-(

At the preschool my kids used to attend you typically had to put your name on the waiting list two years in advance if you wanted to have ANY spot!

Ours is open now too for families already attending the school. It crazy how quickly it comes up!

Registration for K as well as 1/2 day preschool for next year have been going on for about 3 weeks. I've already registered Ellie for K.

Ours is too. I was surprised when I got the email, even though we went through this before. It always seems so early!

Our alumni registration starts October 1st and then we open registration to the public January 2nd.

In NYC the application (yes, I said application) deadline is Oct 15. You then have parent and child interviews and find out if your child was accepted on March 1. January doesn't sound bad at all lol!

PreK registration for my younger DD starts Feb 8th or sometime that week (the open house is the 8th which is when the applications are ready) and for my older DD, we have to have the application for full day kindergarten and open enrollment since we are out of district turned in by Jan 16th - we actually mailed ours in right after the information night back in early Nov.  They start the lottery for the full day spots in a few weeks and I will know if she gets full day or not in early to mid Feb.
