I am a SAHM, so I have the luxury of napping when my 2 year old naps and my 4.25 year old has "quiet play time" in the play room. I am so exhausted by midday that is a struggle not to take a nap . . . but when I wake up I feel so sluggish and out of it that it pretty much makes me feel like the nap wasn't worth it. Does anyone else experience this? Should I take the nap and just deal with the feeling of yuckiness afterward, or should I push through and just go to bed for the night early in the evening? Anyone know if there is a medical reason why I would be feeling that way when I wake up? I plan to ask my MFM at my appointment next week.

Re: Preggo Nap Question
I have heard that shorter naps can leave you feeling refreshed and not as sluggish/groggy. Not sure as to the 100% truth to it but you could always try!
30 minute max naptime is what is recommended in this line of thought. The "power nap" idea.
