If you did mommy and me?

What adjusted age did you start? I waited and now I want to start - Madison will have to start daycare in March (our nanny is moving away! waaaa) and I wanted her to have mommy and me classes under her belt before she went - we were supposed to start last month but of course the holidays got my schedule all ruffled and now there will only be a little time before she starts daycare. The Mommy and Me group I'll be attending starts at 4m - Madison will be 6m adjusted and I think she should fit in fine - did any of you notice the "delay" developmentally when you started Mommy and Me?

  • I was going to post something similar.

Has anyone done swim classes?  When we were in the NICU the nurses said to wait until his adjusted age.  We were going to visit the subject in the spring with our pedi and OT.

I feel you on this too - DD was due in july and we have a swimming pool in our backyard - we always envisioned going to one of those infant swim classes where they dunk the babies underwater (these classes FREAK me out) but we wanted to get her in the water right away! I even had a swim suit picked out for her but she came in March and came home in July and I was so happy that she even survived that there was no way I was putting her in the pool! now I cant wait for warm weather to get her in there! She will be one year old when she goes swimming for the first time!
