I've been checking out some stuff for my registry and just discovered the onesies that don't have to go over the babies head. They either wrap or snap on the sides. Anyone have an opinion or experience with one or both? Not having to pull clothes over the babies head seems to make sense but I'm not sure if it really matters.

Re: Onesies: Wrap/Side Snap or Regular??
I could never get the wrap onesies (with the ties) to stay on, or tied. They were a pain in the butt for me.
Honestly, you get used to the over the head ones pretty quickly.

I used the gowns with the elastic bottoms for the first few weeks. It was great for while you are waiting for the cord to fall off, etc. They are in the layette section with the onsies and they make them for boys and girls.
These were especially great when our DD was in the NICU, because the wires for the monitors could come out the bottom and they didn't get snagged on anything.
The side wrap ones suck. Plus, don't buy ANY baby t-shirts that side wrap. They slide up to their armpits and don't help keep baby warm.
Normal onesies or ones with snaps buy the neck.
I also used the sleeper gowns when DS was 1st born.
