Toddlers with reflux

Anyone have a toddler with reflux? What are the signs/symptoms you noticed? I noticed Lyla's reflux more when she was little and thougth she had outgrown it, but now I'm wondering if maybe she is still suffering from it. Prevacid isn't available anymore so she would have to be on zantac and that didn't work for her when she was really little.

My son is on reflux meds it is called omeprazole.He stopped wanting to eat and when he would he would swallow really hard like it was really hurting him to try and swallow.He is having GI study in Feb to make sure that is all that is going on. Best of luck.

Andrew is still on Prilosec (same as above poster).  It's very hard for me to tell now that he is older.  he has had a lot of sinus infection issues, they say the reflux is making it worse and hard to clear infection. 

I dont' know for sure that he still needs it, but he is very, very, very burpy when he is eating.  He's been on meds for 3 yrs, I am  wondering if he is outgrowing his meds. 

He has had 3 endoscopies in the past, the most recent was a year ago, showing the  meds were working, so I am hestitant to change anything.  I am hoping that soon he can tell us if something hurts and/or if he has symptoms, but he can't yet and that would be difficult for him to explain even if he could.

Reid will be 1 year adjusted on the 19th of this month.  My hubs just went to the pharmacy to pick up some Prilosec.  Tagamet and Zantac aren't helping.  He was eating baby food and cereal a container at a time at meals until this spring when his reflux kicked back up and we had to readjust his meds.  The signs are coughing, crying, arching back.  There is a lot of information on the internet.  Good luck.
