You had an appointment today right? How did it go? Did he say how long he will let you go?

Yup!  My chart due date is tomorrow based on LMP even though I made my ticker to be how the early ultrasound dated it.  He is on the 11th (41 weeks) and the 17th (41 weeks, 6 days).  So I have an appointment scheduled now for monday the 9th where he said he would do an internal and probably a non stress test on the baby.  I am sure he will recommend I go the 11th, just because of other conversations with him.

I asked him about the induction process since last time I progressed faster than they thought.  Last time I just needed the cervidil to ripen my cervix and although they were planning on using pitocin the next morning, I was already far enough along by then that I didn't need it.  I really was happy with how my induction went last time, so I am a little nervous about it being all changed up on me this time.  But he explained it and I understand bc of the timing last time and that this is a second delivery, he doesn't want to do the cervidil.  So unless I go on my own before he induces, the plan is to get my water broken and pitocin started.  Which is scary, just because it is the unknown.

And the best part is, I wanted him doing the baby's circumcision.  Normally it is done on day 2 - so it would be the OB on hospital duty the following day.  He said though that he would stop in and check on me the next morning and do the circumcision.  That alone makes me want to hold out till the 11th instead of hoping to go on my own.  Or I guess the 10th on my own would work to since he works the next day.

And I talked to him about my concerns about tearing again bc of how horrible that was last time.  He thinks I won't - even though what dr is going to tell a 9 month pregnant lady they probably will!  But then he said that his goal is to make my delivery so smooth that I want a 3rd baby (he knows we are done), lol.  I love him.

Your ultrasound is Friday right?  Are you seen before then?  Have you been having any progress or contractions or anything?

He cracks me up! After he did my D&C he said "you can start trying after one cycle, Dr P will tell you to wait two or three, but that's because she's older."  

Yep my ultrasound is Friday, and I have my last OB appt tomorrow morning. So depending on what my amniotic fluid levels are, I could deliver this weekend, but I'm almost positive it will be the scheduled date of the 13th.

 I really want Dr. P to deliver me. I have known her forever, she has been with me through every step of this journey, and she wasn't there to deliver Ava so I'm kinda hoping to go this weekend. Plus I'm not a huge fan of Dr E, who is scheduled to do my c/s. It's the unknown that is killing me!  No progress that I know of, and only BH, so I highly doubt labor will start on it's own. Apparently my body doesn't know how to do that -- even with tons of drugs pumped into me!
