low abdominal twitches?

i am 22 weeks now, and last night while laying down my lower abdomen, where my uterus would sit, had about 5 twitches in a row. it was strange.  have any of you felt this? some say it is "quickening" and the baby moving, and others just say nothing about it.   to my knowledge, i havent felt the kid move at all yet.

I would guess that's the kiddo kicking you!

I am 24 weeks and baby has been kicking & moving like crazy & still have that same twitching in the low abdomen..my doc says it is normal from things stretching and moving while baby grows.

Sounds like it might be the baby That's how it kind of feels for me, like twitches or gentle pokes from the inside

thanks ladies.  you all were right, it is the boy moving like crazy.  i love it, and i admit, i cried the first time my hubby got to feel him move.
