Caroline?

I am adding this name to my short list.  My last name starts with a hard C. Is it too much? My name is Karyn so I have the 2 hard C's as well (by marriage - not by choice :) )

 Also, can you get past Neil Diamond?

    I love Caroline and considered it even though I also have a C last name. I think it works!

    It's on our short list. DH is a huge fan, and I think it's pretty.

    We were at a wedding over the weekend, and the DJ played "Sweet Caroline." I told him that if we named a daughter Caroline, she would probably hear this song a lot. :) He jokingly replied that our daughter has her own song (her name is Noelle, lol), so maybe that should be a new requirement of ours; especially since Judah will be our first son's name ("Hey Jude"). :)

    I don't think the two hard C's are too much. Yeah, she'll probably get Sweet Caroline sometimes, but really, there are far worse things to be called.

    Caroline is our top name right now, and our last name also starts with a hard C.  I think of Caroline Kennedy - it's a hard C last name but still sounds nice.

    LOVE Caroline and wouldn't consider it a problem with your last name.  I didn't even think of Neil Diamond.

    TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!

    FET 4/28/2015 - Transferred 1 M embie. 5/6/15 BFP!

    Love Caroline. Now that I heard Caroline Kennedy's reaction to Neil Diamond's song though...I can't get past "touching you, touching me." She was under 5 when he wrote that - apparently inspired by her. C R E E P Y
