Hey everyone,
I'm only 13 weeks, but we are not as rich as many people who live in Stamford, so I'm wondering if anyone could share what they paid for daycare in and near Stamford/Fairfield County/Gold Coast.
We're budgeting for $400 a week, so hopefully numbers are close to that.
Re: How much does Daycare cost in Fairfield County?
Hi
I live in Trumbull and have heard several co-workers say the average they are getting rates between $1400-1600 a month. They have all said to stay away from Tutor Time if that helps you at all.
Are you talking about Tutor Time in Monroe? Two of my coworkers bring their kiddos there and they love it. What have you heard?
We looked at a few in Stamford and settled on bright Horizons since it was the most conveniently located for us and one that we liked. That being said, I think they are among the higher-priced daycares in Stamford. The charges at our location range b/w 1800 and 2100 for full time, which is 6-9 hours a day, for 5 days. They have 2 and 3 day rates and under 6 hours a day too.
I've heard great things about Baby Cottage and Building Blocks on Camp Avenue from some of my co-workers.
Hope this was helpful! Good Luck!!
wow -- $1800 to $2100! Thanks for the info. Is that just for fulltime? (meaning if we do 3 days it might be cheaper?)
How do people pay for daycare? Me and my husband will have to get two jobs to even afford $1400!!
I will try Baby Cottage and Building Blocks first.
Thank you.
That's the Full time price. I think the 3 days start at around $800 per month.
I know it's ridiculously expensive but..
