Daycare and peeing pants

Well everytime i take DS to daycare he pees his pants. He is almost three and has been trained for atleast 3 months now. I dont know what is causing this he tells us when he needs to go and goes by himself, even when we are out? I think it might be he is embarassed to tell the girls he needs to go? He has been going to this daycare (the one at the gym we go to) for over a year now. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. TIA!

maybe he's too busy playing?

do the teachers ask him if he needs/wants to go?

our daycare takes them as a group several times a day, but the kids are also allowed to run out to the bathroom

I would say it is either that something is scaring him (another kid, a teacher, some activity) or he is having so much fun that he forgets (that happens to my son sometimes). 

Did you ask your son?  Maybe he can give you some idea of what the problem is.  Did you ask a teacher if it's at the same time of day or during some activity?   Maybe you could just stay a little longer one day and see if you notice anything about your son's behavior before it happens.

They need to just take him to the potty every hour for the next few wks and than start asking him every hour after that if he needs to go.  After a couple of months he should be fully trained.  He just needs to get in the flow at daycare probably.
