DD is 21 months old. Since about 15-16 months, she has been eating very little. I had read this was expected and all, but how long does this last? I know that she'll eat when she's hungry and she won't starve herself, but shes petite to begin with, so the fact that she's not really eating much concerns me to an extent. Right now, she downs a huge glass of milk as soon as she wakes up and she usually doesn't want breakfast. Contrast that to around 13/14 months she would have a 2 or 4 oz thing of yogurt and at least 4 mini pancakes. Sometimes I can get her to eat a little lunch if it's a grilled cheese and dinner is pretty much the same. Sometimes she'll snack in the afternoon, but that's pretty infrequent. When do toddlers begin eating regularly again???
Re: When do toddlers start to eat again?
Our pedi told us it gets worse before it gets better, and that 2-3 is the "pickiest" window.
Sorry. As a mom of another petite girl, I feel you.

Thanks for posting this because I was able to tell MH tonight, "It's normal! There was a post on the Austin board about this today."
Seriously, though, we also have a peanut and a lot of nights she goes to bed without eating anything at all for dinner. It try not to let it stress me out and just keep offering her a variety of healthy foods, but MH can make it hard. Tonight MH wanted a list of everything she ate today and was like, "So she hardly ate anything at all." And then he went on and on about how he's worried about her not getting enough protein, iron, etc. I keep having to remind him what the doctor and baby books say about it being normal.
But, I have to say it is so frustrating when I make all these different foods for her and she refuses to eat any of them!
