rice cereal frequency?

how often should I feed rice cereal or sweet potato/avocado to my 4 1/2 mon? right now I only do it once a day. she still feeds around 2 1/2 if I bf only.

According to my pedi, he's not concerned about feeding solids regularly until after 6 months. Right now is more of a practice period. We've only tried rice cereal maybe 3 times and will increase and add in other foods once it seems like he knows what he's doing - right now most of it ends up on his face or bib!

Right now we do once a day to get used to it and to see how his little body would react to it.  He loves it so much so we may start doing it in the morning and evening.
