Names on The Bachelor

So I am watching The Bachelor (don't judge) and I saw two names in a row that made me think of you guys:

Shira (pronounced She-Ra)

Blakely

There are also some great spellings: Lyndzi and  Kacie 

And a girl named Shawn.

There are 2 "Lindseys" and neither is spelled correctly ! I guess giving names a unique spelling is not a new trend !

Shira is a completely legit Hebrew name.

As for Blakely and Shawn, I am not sure why, but I don't hate them, but then again, I love boy names for girls.

As for how the other girls spell their names, I know a lot of people on this board care how people spell their names (and I respect that) but I could careless how someone chooses to spell their name (or I guess more accurately, how their parents decided to do so)

Shira is a Hebrew name that's not uncommon in Jewish circles.  I actually think it's a pretty name.

As I was writing it, I was thinking it scould be legit. It just reminded me of HeMan's counterpart because of the pronunciation.

there's nothing wrong with shira. i grew up with a ton of them.

blakely is AWFUL and there are two weirdly spelled lindsays on the show this season.

I love Blakely. For a boy. It's DH's grandfather's name but I doubt we'd ever use it because of it's growing popularity as a girl name.

Blakley is my daughter's name and we chose it because it was my maiden name.  It's not everyon's style, but I'm OK with that.
