Just finished A Dance with Dragons, the latest from George RR Martin's song of ice and fire (game of thrones). Like the last one, it was a little disappointing. I started this damned series in NINETEEN NINTY EIGHT. YES, friggin 13 years ago. Give me something a little juicier please. Fat bast*rd (that's what they call him on the forums, bc he is taking his sweet time).
I don't have anything in my queue. Using my free time to catch up on glee episodes.
I just read Bound South by Susan Rebecca White. It was a good, light read.
Followed that up with a new hardcover that I got as a gift, Rin Tin Tin. It's a really good read because it was very informative about a time in the past that I really didn't know much about. I read it really quickly because it was really good.
I am now reading another book I got for Christmas about Seattle Slew, the racehorse.
Next up is The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. I read the first 2 of the dragon tattoo series last year and was waiting for this one in paperback. However, my sister got it for Christmas and already finished it, so I am borrowing her's.
I just finished The Fifth Witness by Michael Connelly....love love love this author. So, now I am starting his Harry Bosch series, since I've finished the other...the title is The Black Echo. Before that, I read the Hunger Games series...a must read!
11/22/63 by Stephen King. I'm only about 100 pages in (it's really long) but it's really good so far. Very different than anything else of his that I've read.
Susie, mom to DS 4/10/07 and DD 3/6/09 (MC 9/05, 2/06)
Just finished The Hunger Games and now about halfway through the second one, Catching Fire. Also recently re-read Skinny Dip by Carl Hiaasen. I love all his books!
My book club is reading Saving Ceecee Honeycutt so I'm starting that today, I'm also re-reading Pride and Prejudice. I think I might read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo next. I tried reading it a couple years ago but couldn't get through the first few chapters but I saw the movie NYE and I enjoyed it(although it was very slow in the beginning) so I figure I'll try to read again and hopefully finish the trilogy.

I'm reading the Dresdin Files by Jim Butcher and they're awesome. It's a long series.
