Man I'm jealous. DS won't hardly eat any solids. He was doing purees of all sorts rather well but he mostly refuses them now after just a few bites. He will feed himself a cracker or a graham cracker but that's it. He wants nothing to do with solids and won't self feed himself other than crackers. I keep trying. I hope my little boy gets more adventurous soon. He can't be on formula forever!
Re: Food
My LO eats everything that we eat now. They can actually do quite a bit with only gums, so don't be too scared to give them other well cooked foods.
Although my LO has 7 teeth, he was doing sweet potatoes, chicken, cooked fruit, and lots more well before his teeth came in.
We are off the purees now and his typical day is as follows:
- breakfast: oatmeal + fruit
- lunch: fruit mix w/ yogurt
- dinner: carb + meat + veggie
He LOVES salmon and just about any veggie. Self feeding peas has been a hit recently.
