F/U to my is it too late to do blw ?

I just sliced up an apricot and broccoli and she is devouring it lol

She's got a broc in each hand and is staring back and forth like "hmmm which one of you will I attack first?"

I think when we're outside the home we'll give her spoon fed food just to avoid defending myself....

  • I would think as long as she isn't actively choking anyone outside your house should be fine with your baby feeding them self. They will have to learn the skill eventually anyways. But then again I live in some kind of fantasy bubble right now where no one judges me. And my baby will not eat anything she doesn't feed to herself so if someone did say something I would just tell them to shut it.

LMAO. Honestly I think most people are pretty clueless and wouldn't know enough to think your LO was potentially "too young" (which she's not) to feed herself. I know pre-baby, I would have been like "Oh look at that, someone who actually LIKES vegetables" lol. I would comment only on how you got her to eat them and like it, not the fact that she was feeding herself. I say go balls out!

  • I agree with the others. I've been offered a kids menu for LO when she was like 3 months old. I don't think the common public knows enough to side eye you.

Hmmm, might be awkward telling MIL to suck it, I see. ::taps lips:: I still say go for it and be prepared with a great comeback in case she says something irritating or dumb. Like if she says, "She can't eat that, she's a baby!" You can say something like, "Looks like she's doing just fine" or "Actually, she can" or "Shut it, hag, she's doing fine." Okay maybe not that last one... lol
