You mentioned you might be getting induced bc they think the placenta may be shutting down? I really hope this isn't the case, and my best thoughts out to you. May I ask how they know this/why they think this?

Baby has been measuring a little small all along - about 1cm shy on fundal height - but it was consistent so they watched it but weren't concerned. On Tuesday of last week when they measured it was 4 cm smaller than the previous week. They had already thought he had dropped all the way so further dropping couldn't account for the big change. They followed up with an u/s and found that his stomach is measuring 34 weeks while head, arms, and legs are all measuring 36 or 37 weeks.
Essentially it isn't that fact that he is small it is that he is asymmetrically small. The doctor and fetal medicine specialist are concerned that growth may actually be regressing
Another u/s and non-stress test tomorrow to make the call on whether I get admitted tomorrow afternoon to L&D for a Wednesday AM induction.
Thanks for explaining all of that! You and especially baby Ginger have my best thoughts and a prayer that everything will be great, and that if you get induced, it'll be successful and safe!
Keep us posted hon!

You're so close, eeee! I'm on ML now so I'm stuck to the computer all the time too. I don't even need a labor buddy bc I'm sure I'll have my iphone to do the updates myself lol!

I'm a teacher so I've been pretty MIA in the fall since I can't get on at work....but now that I'm on leave I'm stuck to the computer too (partially to avoid finishing grading and sending stuff to my sub). DH hates my computer he's actually fussing at me now to put it away
Re: Gingerwife (re placenta)
Thanks!

Thanks. I'm sure I will be bumping tomorrow night if they admit me. I'll be bored out of my mind for the night until they induce in the morning.
I have quilting, work, and my computer to help keep me entertained/not freaking out.
